We’ve talked a lot about the upcoming licensing event from Martha Pullen Co. Serger Serger! event. This is really exciting because it is the first time that this course is offered online! No more traveling to other locations (although I think that’s part of the fun) you can now take the course in your own home.
You’ll study with the same fantastic Martha Pullen faculty during your online experience but just in your home on your schedule.
For those of you who have already joined the Serger Licensing (Serger I), no worries. This is an entirely new group of projects with lots of unique techniques and will enhance and expand your serger-expertise and project collection.
With over 24 projects to download and videos to support the project instructions, you can hone your serger talents and teaching skills – in the comfort of your own home.
The projects range from
- quilted projects
- home decorating
- accessories and totes
- garment construction for adults
- baby & children garments
A cover stitch serger is not necessary to complete the required projects and techniques for Serger II, but if you have a cover stitch serger, there are projects using cover and chain stitch with alternative methods for students who own sergers without that feature.
- how to thread
- identify parts and settings used for general serging methods,
- master tips and tricks for specialty serging
- how to use serger feet
In addition to all this, your online serger licensing will include a tried-and-true curriculum of over two dozen fabulous serger projects to make, sell or teach.
During this course you will correspond with the Martha Pullen Licensing faculty, who will be available to answer any question you might have about projects, patterns and teaching methods.
You will have licensing privileges from the day you submit and pass all required projects. If you choose to teach serger classes, holding a Martha Pullen Serger Teaching License just might open doors that would not be available to you otherwise.
Everyone is welcome to join the serger licensed teacher program! The course is $500.00 and for more information and a course outline please visit Martha Pullen Company.
