Wonderful news for Kaffe Fassett fans around the world. Kaffe Fassett will have a special exhibit at the American Museum in Great Britain. The display, called “The Colorful World of Kaffe Fassett,” will be open now through November 2.

Additionally, the New York Times ran an wonderful article on Fassett and the exhibit. You can read more and see a slide show of the exhibit from the New York Times HERE. Many of us know the beauty and wonderful sense of color and design that Fassett has displayed over the years. Now more people will get to experience his art.     I’m new to the works of Kaffe Fassett. His talent is so incredible, the colors reach out and grab me. I’d love to be able to go to the show but I live too far away. The New York Times article is a must read and the slideshow is amazing. I love his quote about “absolutely passionate pools of color”. If anything it’s an understatement. Thank you for bringing him to my attention. I’ll be learning everything I can about him and his amazing works.

    I love his fabulous use of colors that don’t “go together”, like hot pink, orange and red in the same quilt. All of his quilts look fabulous, and I wish I could be that comfortable with color.

    I’m afraid if I met him I’d be speechless, his use of color is amazing. I do use his fabrics for my quilts and often look to his quilts for inspiration.

    I love his fabrics and use them often to brighten. He has such a nice selection you can always find that one color that your quilt is missing within his designs.

    I discovered Kaffe Fassett when checking out quilting books at the library. I checked out a few of his books and fell in love with his use of color. I started buying some of his fabric and have used it in several quilts. Thanks for the eye candy!

    Kaffe’s knitting and quilting have blown me away for years. I have used his fabrics and designs a number of times, and love his inspiration. Going to England this summer and plan to see the exhibit!

    Have loved his knitting for years. Met Kaffe in Toronto a few years ago. What an inspiring speaker and creator! Now I love, love, love, his yarns and fabrics. The color inspiration is astounding.
