    As a stocking stuffer, I love to get the random “scraps” of fabric that stores bundle up and put on sale. There are so many fun and cute styles that can be used for so many projects.

    I was an avide cross-stitcher actually addicted to it and have been away from stitching for a few years I am going to get back into doing cross-stitch again because I love it and love seeing a piece of blank fabric turn into something beautiful.

    This year, I’ve knitted “Mug Rugs” for each of my family members for their stockings because it is something I can do on my breaks and dinners at work. What I’d like? I guess some good music to sew to and I’d really like one of those gloves that protect your hand when using a rotary cutter.

    I love getting notions in mine, but my favorite stocking stuffers are mini hand lotions and chapstick. My lips and hands always get so dry when I’m working on a project!

    The best stocking stuffer has got to be a favorite chocolate. So while everyone opens presents, you can nibble your chocolate! Absolute heaven!

    I love to get lotions and warm fuzzy socks. Sewing notions would be great also. Never can have enough. This would make a neat gift for my daughter that likes to cross-stitch or I might do it for myself.

    I am also the stocking stuffer at my house, so anything in my stocking would be a surprise! I love to give handmade items for Christmas – I’ve made and give hand embroidered pillowcases, fleece blankets, ponchos for the girls, and this year quilts to all our kids. I am working on cross-stitch blocks for a quilt to finish “someday”!

    I forget to have a stocking for myself. It is tradition to fill it with a very large apple and orange, followed by candy. Every year it becomes more difficult to find a little something to add to top. When the children were young the girls would get flavored chap stick, disappearing milk bottles for their new dolls. For my son it was matchbox cars, Legos, and movies.
    As the children grow older one has to become a little more creative!

    I love to receive a new miniature santa in my stocking. I have gottem some most original pieces. I love to give gift cards that are special to each person.

    My favorite gift to give would be gift cards because it’s always fun to spend money when one feels like it! A stocking stuffer that I like to receive is mascara or blusher. I always manage to forget to buy either of those two items!

    My favorite gift is a donation to a charity in my name. I don’t need more “stuff”. The charities I like are “Best Friends Animal Sanctuary” and the Utah Food Bank and Fourth Street Clinic
