One of my favorite occasions to sew and embroider for is to welcome a new baby. Lately, I’ve had lots of opportunities! My best friend Erin just had baby Charlie in December, and now my sister Wendy will be having her first baby (a little girl) in February! Here we are posing with the baby quilt I gave her this weekend:

Everything! Christmas, Halloween, Easter, weddings, baby items, you name it and I love it.
Christmas gifts are my fav. Love to do things to make the house look good. Love to make quilt labels before I quilt the top too!
I embroider for any occasion. It is so much fun to see something ordinary become extraordinary!
I love to make personalised handbags for friends’ birthday. Baby items are also a favourite, but lately there haven’t been many such occasions.

I love embroidering gifts for all occasions. It gives me such pleasure to plan what I am doing and the true pleasure is in seeing the response of the person receiving the gift. I often have people tell me that they always think of me when they use or see the gift.
Embroidery turns a gift into the gift that keeps on giving.
I’m not sure I have a favorite occasion to emborider. I love to embroider just for the fun of it. I do love the Lunch Box Quilt Patterns. I have several but not the Everything Baby. It is really cute.
I have started making soft sculpture dolls and love adding embroidery to the little outfits. I also love to embroider for all my gifts. Birthday or holiday.
I love to embroidery everything, this would be great as we have a new baby coming in the family. I was just starting to plan the baby quilt for them.
Occasion? I can’t pick just one. Give me a cute design and I will make an occasion to embroider it for. I love to do anything that is done in the hoop as it makes for completing gifts faster.
