    I have yet to use my embroidery machine in making a quilt. I’m waiting to get some good software.

    I have made blocks for 2 quilts, 1 has cutwork embroidery on it. Sad to say but I haven’t finished either one. I could use some ideas on how to put the blocks together, how to machine quilt and how to add extra sashings to make the quilts larger. Any help from Jenny Haskins book would be wonderful!

    I am going to my my very first quilt which will be a rag quilt and will be embroidering sun bonnet sue on my pieces can’t wait!!!!!! first i have to get all my halloween projects done first! lol

    I do it about half of the time. If it is a baby quilt, all the time. For queen size quilts, at least the label is.

    I use my embroidery machine for every quilt I make. I make quilt labels to put on the back of every quilt with my name, date and who the quilt is for.

    I use machine embroidery in most of my quilts, not just the ones that are all embroidered blocks. I like to sneak a design in here and there just to give it eye appeal on all of my pieced quilts!

    When I made my first quilt for my granddaughter, I felt my quilt needed a special something. So I took up several of the squares and replaced them with embroidered squares and it looked wonderful. I also embroider all my tags for my quilts.

    I have been making quilts that are pieced and embroidered in the hoop. I’ve made a Storm at Sea, Dresdan Plate and a couple pictorial quilts. Love the results!

    I do all my quilts, runners, throw, wallhangings, etc. with machine embroidery. I started doing them that way about 5 years ago. I like to use motif that lend themselves to the fabic I’m using.

    All the quilts that I have made have been with machine embroidery. I am working my way through 10 grandchildren, our 3 children’s 25th wedding anniversary, and several for brast cancer appeals

    I love to use machine embroidery in EVERYTHING. To Date, I have only completed quilts for the wall—I have lots of different squares waiting to be stitched together into a quilt top and finished. I have some that are redwork on muslin, reminding me of things my Gram used to have on the beds. Too many ufo’s in my sewing room!!
