I want to try a t-shirt “redesign” that I saw on pinterest.
I am finishing a Peggy Sager blouse, (it fits perfect) making another one and making a purse from a men’s tie. Enjoying every minute of it
this weekend I will be making more skirts and head bands to match the skirt for charity <3
I will embroidery some towels, and make a shower curtain topper for Saint Patrick’s day
Sewing my first lined curtains.
Easter appliques!
If I get a chance, I’ll be creating some new stock designs for an upcoming project. Perhaps something Victorian.
I am going to finish some alpabet block for a baby quilt
I’m making some reversible hats for my boys and hopefully a wallet for my mum!
Baby Shower gifts, coordinating appliqued Monkey faces on Burp cloths, bibs and blankies.
I am going to be working on some unfinished projects, I took a couple of classes recently and want to finish the projects I started in the classes, the first one is a “Face” class, using misc. bright fabrics of our choice and machine raw edge applique, we designed abstract faces during the class, now I need to put the finishing touches on it, such as the hair (which is a combination of Angelina fibers fused and cut into somewhat oval shapes) and then couching various yarns and fibers in colors to match my fabric colors over the Angelina Fibers. After that I need to put my border fabrics on it and then decide if I want to finish it as a wall hanging or a pillow. The next is a class I took at Road 2 California. It was taught by Irena Bluhm and is about using colored pencils to fill in already stitched designs with various colors and shades. I finished the initial design, now I need to complete some background stitching and then decide how I want to use the completed square. I am thinking a wall hanging or as a design on a tote bag. I love learning new things and I am excited to get these finished!
Finishing up an apron and embroidering a St. Patricks shirt for my grandson
I will be making custom keyring tags – with mobile phone numbers embroidered on ribbon which is attached to webbing (then stitched into shape with ‘hand hole’ and split ring and karabiner).
I will be smocking an Easter dress for my grand daughter.
Will be working on a bridal gown, fixing some zippers in coats, shortening a skating costume, and generally fixing the rest of my fixings……lol
This weekend I will be make a shocked bishop dress and a smocked bonnet to match for my new 16 day old granddaughter. I will be making the dress and bonnet form scratch and I will pleat and smock them both myself. As I work on these weekend projects, my 5 yr. old granddaughter will be watching and learning.
I’m going to make a bib for my friend’s daughter’s baby. The little guy is due any day now! It’s an in-the-hoop project – the bib, that is!
My mom and I are making baby blankets!
I’ll be working on kitchen curtains.
Working on a Christmas tree skirt for next year.
I will be trying to get the collar onto a shirt for my son… and finishing up a pair of lounge pants for my hubby. And if I get that done, I’ll start on another shirt for my other son.
I’m making pajama’s for my daughter-inlaw. She set to have my first grandchild on April 13, 2012. Then back to making things for my new grandson’s grand enterance to the world. Been a long time fan of CME.
Thanks Karon Gregory
