Rainbow Around the Block is a quilting project, started by Anna Marie Horner, to help families in Tennessee who lost their homes to flooding. The project hopes to gain the efforts of quilters nationwide to make as many quilts as possible to give to families in need.
There are several ways you can help:
- If you’re a quilter, the organization is accepting unfinished 12 1/2″ square blocks. They’re also accepting new or lightly used quilts.
- If you’re a quilt shop or guild, you can make posters and fliers to spread the word and serve as a drop-off location for the quilt blocks.
- If you’re a local, you can donate your time to help construct the quilts.
- If you’re not a quilter, but still want to help, you can make a donation through your Paypal account.
